A programme specially developed for children, the costs of which are completely covered by the German health insurance companies every six months. This programme includes the following treatments:

• An informative talk for children, explaining the benefits of a diet favourable for dental health and optimum oral hygiene
• Information about possible dental illnesses like caries
• Use of fluoride to harden enamel

• Fissure sealing with the aim of closing gaps which cannot be reached with a normal tooth brush. Initially these undergo thorough cleaning and preparative treatment, and then they are sealed so that they are safe from bacteria.

  Prevention is better than cure. We are responsible for taking care of the local kindergartens and primary schools, giving children instructions on how to brush their teeth (according to their age), and offering a special afternoon for their parents to give them advice and information on their children’s prophylaxis.
