Ceramic inlays are used for smaller as well as larger tooth caries. They resemble your natural teeth so perfectly that even dentists often have problems distinguishing between a ceramic inlay and a healthy tooth. For this treatment you will need two appointments. At your first appointment, we will initially reduce your tooth and take an impression of it. The dental technician will then produce the inlay, which will perfectly blend into the colour of your teeth. At your second appointment, the inlay will be bonded to your prepared tooth. Long-term studies (over more than 10 years) have proven that ceramic inlays and ceramic partial crowns have, apart from their magnificent aesthetic effect, a very long lifespan, comparable to that of gold inlays.
